Ayr Boswell – SYFA Scottish Cup 2009 / 2010 (3rd round ties)
(Original Post 14th Oct, updated 3rd November). The third round draw for the Scottish Youth Football Assocation Challenge Cup competition for season 2009 / 2010 has been made and, with the 2nd round ties now complete, it has thrown up 2 interesting home ties and two tricky away ties for the U14s, U15s, U16s and U17s of Boswell who were successful in the 2nd round.
Only the 17s are awaiting final confirmation of who they will play in the 3rd round.
The third round ties, assuming all 2nd round ties get completed, are currently scheduled to take place weekend of Sat 31st October/Sunday 1st November
Under 14s: Edinburgh South FC versus Ayr Boswell
Under 15s: Ayr Boswell versus Riddrie Villa FC
Under 16s: Ayr Boswell versus Tynecastle FC
Under 17s: Coylton FC or Dalbeattie Star Youth versus Ayr Boswell Thistle
All the above games for the Boswell 11-a-side teams will be played to a finish including extra time and penalty kicks if required. Any Scottish Cup tie that is postponed due to bad weather is to be automatically be relisted by the SYFA for the following weekend.
