U13′s WSYFL – Ayr Boswell 1 Southside FC 1

P9080022The U13′s played Southside FC at KG5 Sunday 13 September 2009 in a game that finished in a hard earned draw for the home team having been reduced to 10 men halfway through the first half.

Boswell took the lead through Kerr Houston early in the first half, only for Kerr to earn himself a red card for a clumsy challenge on the southside keeper. Southside equalised 5 minutes before halftime and down to 10 men for the remainder of the game the boys put in a great performance to finish 1-1.

Next up is a game away to Kello Wanderers in the 1st round of the James Young Cup, saturday 19th september.

    A really fantastic performance from the whole team to hold a very good Southside team at bay for so long with 10 men. Superb effort from everyone, well done.
