Ayr Juniors 1 Ayr Boswell 1

The U13s played local rivals Ayr Juniors at KG5 Saturday 5th September 2009 in what turned out to be a good game of football played in terrible conditions.

Ayr Juniors took the lead in the 2nd minute, when they scored directly from a corner but the boys dug in and got a deserved equaliser when Dylan Croke pounced on a loose ball 5 minutes before halftime to equalise, halftime 1-1.

The 2nd half was end to end and either team could have won it but following a hard fought 70 minutes it finished 1-1. Next up is a home game against Southside FC, Sunday 13 September 2009.

    The boys played very well after losing the early goal.
    It shows how far they have come on, usually after losing a goal to Juniors their heads go down, but they fought back and were the better team by far.
    Well done lads
